Veeva Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Q3 Guidance Set

Veeva Systems (VEEV) reported a fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $2.35 per diluted share, up from $1.99 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.22.

Revenue for the three months ended July 31 was $928.0 million, up from $789.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $905.4 million.

For fiscal Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS of $2.33 to $2.34 on revenue of $932 million to $935 million. Analysts expect EPS of $2.28 on revenue of $918.1 million.

For the full fiscal year, the firm expects adjusted EPS of about $9.21 on revenue of $3.682 billion to $3.687 billion. Analysts expect $9.06 and $3.65 billion, respectively.
