Virgin Australia's Customer Loyalty Program Offers 40,000 Bonus Points on Holiday Packages

Virgin Australia (ASX:VGN) said its Velocity Frequent Flyer loyalty program is giving members two new offers that deliver 40,000 bonus points and the choice to earn double points or double status credits on their next flight, according to a Monday statement.
Members who book an eligible Virgin Australia Holidays package worth more than AU$1,000 can earn 40,000 bonus Velocity points on top of the points they already earn on the booking, the statement said.
The company's shares fell 1% in recent Monday trade.
